How This Calculator Works
Risk Amount = Account Size × Risk %
Position Size (in USD) = Risk Amount / Stop Loss Distance %
Example:
- Account: $10,000
- Risk: 1% → $100 risk
- Stop Loss: 4% below entry → Position Size = $100 / 0.04 = $2,500
This ensures you never lose more than your chosen risk % even if the stop-loss is hit.
